Why Fundraising Matters at Printers Playhouse
Printers Playhouse Arts exists to make creativity accessible, inclusive, and embedded in our community. From theatre and music to visual arts and participation projects, everything we do is driven by the belief that the arts should be open to everyone — not just those who can afford them.
Fundraising plays a vital role in making this possible. Every event you attend, ticket you buy, or activity you take part in helps us:
Subsidise workshops and performances
Support local artists and volunteers
Keep our spaces open, welcoming, and creative
Develop new community arts projects
“Look out for one of our legendary themed parties! Recent themes have included the Mad Hatters Tea Party, a swashbuckling Pirate Party and last summer the Summer of Love Party. These events sell out fast so don’t miss out! ”
Importantly, fundraising at PPH Arts is never just about raising money — it’s about bringing people together. Our events are designed to be fun, social, and creative, giving people a chance to connect with each other while supporting something meaningful.
The best way to help is simply to come along and get involved. Whether you’re painting, singing, dancing, quizzing, or cheering others on, you’re directly supporting community arts in Eastbourne.
