Marky Dawson, Piano Bar
Marky started teaching himself piano at the age of 14. After moving to London, Marky was soon a regular on the circuit working as resident pianist in pubs and bars, entertaining audiences with his wide repertoire of covers and catchy originals.
Playing in his unique style of energetic piano based Rock 'n' Roll, Marky doesn't use backing tracks: it's all live and he's happy to take requests. After all, with a song list covering 7 decades there's a pretty good chance he'll know the song you love!
Blues, pop, rock'n'roll piano and voice.

The Joe Clements Band
Straight outta Sussex on the south coast of England, Joe, Dave and Jon are The Joe Clements Band. Manchester born Joe lays down Byrdsian 12-string and Stonesey rock guitars over ‘catchy as f#*k’ super-cool, original, power-pop tunes.
Funky rhythm section Dave Cover (Bass guitar & regular at Download Festival) and Jon Porter (Drums, multi-instrumentalist) transform Joe’s songs for dancing feet; beats and harmonies by the truckload!
Think 1960s garage band meets the chart grazing English guitar bands of 1990s and beyond...
From the off, their live sound is immediate, raw, high powered, fun and groove-laden. The Stone Roses on Kronenbourg or The Jam on happy pills....
The boys are exceptionally proud of their debut EP ‘Number One’. The four tracks were produced in just three days by local legend, Harvey Summers at Broadoak studios and self-released to the world on CD and all major streaming services in March 2020.
Intended to be a snapshot of the band at a moment in time, it has come to stand as an anchor to a time before times changed...
The Joe Clements Band can currently be found hiding out in Joe’s shed; writing and preparing their next batch of songs...
Keep up with The Joe Clements Band on Instagram and Facebook and get your hands on an actual CD right here...

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Printers Playhouse Community Productions presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Birley Centre.
‘The course of true love never did run smooth.'
Desperate to escape their unhappy fates, young lovers Demetrius, Lysander, Helena and Hermia flee their village in the heart of England for the moonlit woods.
There – along with a band of amateur actors/musicians – they fall under the spell of mischievous Puck and their punky apprentice Cobweb, tumbling into a dream world where illusion and reality are hilariously confused.
A gender bending, 70s spin on the classic tale. This production is not to be missed!
