Printers Playhouse Art Auction Finale

A highlight of the night was the silent auction for a unique piece by celebrated graphic novel artist Boo Cook. Enthusiastic bidders made sure it was a focal point of the event, while a further auction of one-off, postcard-sized artworks proved just as popular, drawing competitive bids from attendees eager to take home an exclusive piece.

Adding to the excitement, the unveiling of a striking wall portrait of actor and comedian Suzy Izzard was met with admiration. The artwork, a tribute to Suzy’s inspiring career and connection to the arts, provided a fitting centrepiece to the evening.

A fantastic night for art, artists, and supporters—here’s to many more!

Art lovers, artists and supporters of Printers Playhouse came together on March 29th, for a memorable evening marking the close of the Printers Playhouse online art auction.

The event brought the creative community together in style, raising over £2000 to support our community projects, ensuring more opportunities for artists and audiences alike.

With an atmosphere of community, creativity, and generosity, the Printers Playhouse auction finale was a true celebration of artistic talent.

“The board of Printers Playhouse Arts would like to thank everyone who contributed to this fantastic event. The Artists, the bidders and those who worked so hard to organise the online auction and the live event.
